3:45 AM Day 2
Having finally gotton back some sort of phone line I am linked to the world again. Things here are skethcy. Persephone is still sick and I am still having to force fluids every hour so she doesn't get dehydrated. She finally has gone potty several times and has only thrown up once in about 24 hours now. We just have to get her rehydrated and try to start her on solids again sometime today. Power has been coming on and off as well as satellite signal. The news reports are telling everyone to stay indoors in certain states and in certain cities. My area is being told to stay indoors. It is very mysterious and scary all at the same time. Kendra fears the worse, having seen this situation in most of her horror movies. Aurora is fine and at this point doesn't seem to be catching what persephoen has. Whatever was in my pool is now gone, so good for that. Everything looks red at this point outside or at least that's how it appears through my back window. Sirens are going off here and there and I have heard several gunshots. I haven't really slept in like 48 hours so I guess maybe I am hallucinating. I just wish the news was being more specific about whats going on around here, maybe Kendra is right. What am I thinking? It's just the sleepimess talking. I think I have gotton her to drink enough tonight and I am going to tey and get some sleep now that I have air conditioning again. I founf one of my old laptops just in case the phone lines go down again. I continued to try the dr all day but still no answer for Seffie. I have found enough information about what to do online though. Wait a min! maybe the cnn site has some info about what's going on if the TV isn't being straight with us. Hope all is well with all of you out there. For thoose who are being forced to stay inside let's try and get an answer. Keep me posted. Blessed Be all.
