But that's not too surprising. I've found something on the Discovery Science channel about the death of Alexander the Great. And one of the theories is that he died from... West Nile Virus.
Go Figure. One of the greatest conquorers of history could have died from a bird disease transmitted by a mosquito.
Yes, the programme is only half over and they're checking into other possibilities but I'm finding this one kinda funny - rather like the lack of a horseshoe nail.
Note: the actor they have portraying Alexander looks rather like Owen Wilson, but not quite so cute.
