rather mundane problem

Jul 21, 2005 20:15

I have a problem I don't know how to fix. My mattress keeps sliding off the box spring toward the side I sleep on. Anyone know a good way to stop that from happening?? Aside from either building a box to house both mattresses or going back to sleeping on a futon, that is...

This may not help... but it might. :) Can you prop something under the edge of the mattress, to slightly lift the side that keeps sliding off? Maybe it will help it keep from moving... ::hugs::

Uhm... A really big sheet of velcro between the mattress and the box spring?

;P

self-adhesive velcro? doublesided tape? one of those rubber anti-slip mats between the boxspring and the mattress? Giant Lag Bolts.

The possibilities are endless...

Box springs usually have a wooden frame at the bottom. You could tack a long strip of plywood to it along the affected side, wide enough to hold the lower edge of the mattress in place.
