Happy Free Comic Book Day!
When I realized it was Comic Book Day, I thought I'd try to see if I could find an update on the PD comic. These articles date back to January, but it's the first time I'm hearing about it!

Chi says: "Bryan's doing a graphic novel," McBride said in an interview last week in Pasadena, Calif., where he was promoting his new Fox TV series Human Target. "He sent me a couple pages. It was off the hook. It's really good." source
While promoting Fox's new Human Target adaptation, actor Chi McBride revealed to Sci Fi Wire that he's read some of Fuller's script for the comic, which apparently will be released by DC -- through its Wildstorm imprint, presumably -- as a 12-issue miniseries. source
McBride said the comic “seems a little darker” than the whimsical ABC series. There’s one story in particular called “The Head” that he hopes gets made. And you know what that means given The Pie-Maker’s unique abilities, right? Hello, dismembered talking head. Darker indeed. source
