How did you find out the news that Pushing Daisies had been cancelled?
“We wrapped episode 13 at 5:00p.m. on a Friday, and we didn’t know whether to hug each other goodbye or say, ‘See you soon.’ We were just hoping that we’d come back. I did promotion for my role in Four Christmases over that weekend, and on that Monday, we got the bad news. I was really that shocked, because the whole state of TV is such in flux.”
*sigh*
The interviewer also asks her about a potential Dolly Parton biopic. I thought the little anecdote about her and Chi singing during takes was adorable. :)
