Hi! I'm a UK fan of Pushing Daisies and have been wondering whether there is or will be much official merchandise for the show, apart from the two series on DVD and the Soundtrack. Posters, badges, but above all: a making-of book!
Despite the show's cancellation, is there a reason why these sort of things should not appear? Firefly, another show cancelled frankly unjustly, has had two official companion books published since its removal from our screens. I would really love to see a book about creating PD, because of its originality and style and how so many of us love it to pieces.
This is also because the UK DVD was totally lacking in extras :(
The sets and costumes are all so intricate with little details that can pass you by on TV - big glossy books help you notice things you never would have seen before! And appreciate even more the work that goes in to the making of PD. (such as in
this wonderful HHGG book which I was given for my birthday two years ago.)
Of course a return for the show in the form of a episodes or movie would be even better, but I'd still love a vibrant book on the world of Coeur de Coeurs...
* to add: am nervous about venturing into other US discussion forums for fear of encountering spoilers, as am following along the UK ITV showings...just saw 2.4 Frescorts. So if you've heard anything elsewhere, please share!
