Cancellation Rumors
RUMOR IS that ABC has canceled Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money
This is a rumor. I have no idea how reliable the source is, although the site is a major TV site online. Still, it is a rumor.
However, these things start to fly around the Internet very quickly. There might be a decent amount of articles (especially from the smaller market papers/sites that don't care to be terribly factually accurate with their entertainment reporting) based on this rumor coming out today and tomorrow. There are always people that will take up any scrap of rumor and run with it.
So just remember, read all articles carefully, and take anything that doesn't come from a rock solid source (an official statement from the network, cast, or crew, one of the more famous TV bloggers like Ausiello or Kristin Dos Santos with reliable sources, etc.) with a grain of salt, even if the show's prospects are fairly bleak. Check dates on anything you find, as well. If it's not from today, it's probably old news.
Really, we're probably all beyond the point of panic at this point, but don't lose your lunch over the backwater articles that will start to pop up. The rumors are inevitable, unfortunately. Keep your eyes open and your fingers crossed.
