it's been a while...
...since i've had some frickin' time to uptdate this thing. so for those of you who have been wondering, here's whats been happenin' in the exciting life of joe:
went to the football game friday night,only to be dissappointed w/claremonts humiliating performance. oh well who pays attention to the game anyway? i was having fun talking w/ppl and walking around w/jazmine. afterwards, she drove us to our church - OLA - cuz every friday night this month we have a "non r-rated scary movie night". we got there late so we only saw like the last ten minutes of the sixth sense, which ruined the whole movie for us since we hadn't seen it yet. but we stayed a while afterdwards watching charlie brown episodes and playing board games and legos, (yes legos, we have a small box in our meeting room that we sometimes use for activities.) that all sounds lame, i know, but it was actually quite entertaining.
on satuday, i spent my morning painting the outside of my house and mowing the lawn. basicaly crap work. but then that afternoon johana came w/me to help me shop for my elton john costume. we went to the goodwill store, since its probably the only place to find cheap 70's clothing. i ended up getting this silver jacket and a wildly colored shit, both woman's clothing, lol. (hey, what did you think i was gonna wera, elton was frickin' flaming!) i figured i would just wear black dress pants and shoes at first, but now i've decided to go back and get some pants that will look good with it. and my dad had an old hat that i will use, and i'm borrowing this pair of big glasses nicole has to complete the outfit. its gonna look awesome.
i spent most of my sunday at church - conformation in the morning, warming up w/the music group before mass, the service, then youth group afterards. between all that though, i managed to get a little further on my drivers ed course and do part of my hw, (the rest i saved for during classes today).
so overall it was a pretty fun weekend, especially since my rival baseball team is now out of the playoffs, hahaha. sorry aly and amy, i had to put that in. now were even, and as far as the world series goes, its all about the Red Sox.
for the week ahead, i have a math test tomorrow, the PSAT on wed., and then an awesome field trip w/the arts majors on thursday. then it's another football game on friday, the end of the triad, and boom! another weekend. wow i hope that it goes by as fast as it seems it will.
also, tomorrow at 5, the chs jazz band is playing for the opening of the new pizza place on foothill. its in the same place where straw hat used to be, in the stater bros. shopping center, called eddie's pizzeria or something. so if you wanna hear us, come and check out the new restaurant or just stand outside and help us get a crowd.
if you read all that, mad props to you. i think its one of the longest entries i've ever written.
time to go finish my last bit of hw and then to bed, so i'll catch ya on the flipside
