Okay the title obviously speaks for itself. lol I was supposed to be cleaning up the house, but instead I'm curled up reading Roswell and GA fanfiction. I'm horrid I know it, but I can't help that I got sucked into some awesome stories. My two complaints were after reading: 1) why did it have to end? and 2) why is it so hard to find some good Denny/Izzy fics?
OMG they're playing Dawson's Creek theme song on the radio. And I'm sitting here like the biggest idiot singing along with it. lmao Evil addictive song...strange that's the only thing I remember about the show is the song. ;) Well that and that Pacey is cute.
It's raining outside and I keep finding little notes that I left myself that I need to be updating soon. I just always seem to be taking naps and waking up at the strangest hour like last night I woke up at 5am. *shakes head* By 6am I was singing "My Love" by Justin Timberlake and looking through my book shelves for something to read. I need help or something...or oh a life! *nods head eagerly* I might use that song in my Halloween story...it has potential. lol
At least I got an idea finally for NaNo and I have a grip on my two main characters. The only thing is I know the story would be tons better in a first pov, but my brain is revolting against it. I've been taught that first pov is a no no and that everything I write must be in third person. It's hard to write in a different voice since I've been writing in third pov since freshman year in college. I'm just going to work on the outline and make sure I have a definite and good idea before committing myself to hours on working on something else.
Not much going on around here except listening to the radio and the rain and the occasional off key note from yours truly. Two more weeks of boredom...it spells trouble people trouble. Maybe if I can get paintshop to work for me I can start the gazer siggies I'm supposed to be making for the Halloween challenge. Mary (who I adore) agreed to the wallpaper which is going to rock. I sent her tons of my favorite gazer moments most which came from the Four Square eppy and the White Room (when Alex and Isabel are lying on Liz's bed while Isabel try to dreamwalk Max is one of my favorite moments). Plus I sent her some new Katie and Colin pics that I found so I know it's going to be good.
Well I guess I better get to dusting and vaccuming before my mum comes home and wonders what I did all day. I don't think the whole I was reading fanfiction will go over so well. lol Hmm maybe I should start dinner too, but no clue what to make. Maybe beef stew and some nice crusty french bread. No wait there's a new Bath & Bodyworks Xmas catalog calling me. Decisions...decisions.
Have a good day everyone! *hugs*
