These few days, I have been getting the deja vu feeling. It happens at those intense moments when I pause and take a quick break from my work and I look at the surroundings around me and suddenly, I see a very familiar scene. The exact angle that I saw the same scene, the exact people in the scene, the exact actions and behaviour displayed, the exact expressions on their faces...scarily familiar!!
It's like I knew I saw this a few years ago in my dreams and in those dreams, I don't know why the hell I am seeing all that.
So I asked Derek, "Does this mean that life is predestined?" His view is that it is not necessarily true but perhaps we have the ability to travel to the future...hmm...that reminded me of 2 movies I recently watched that played with time, "Click" and "The Lakehouse". But anyway, even if life's predestined, I'm glad we usually can't remember our dreams that become deja vu a few years down the road. As the message of the movie "Click" illustrated, what's the point of living life if you could fast forward it and take a peek into the future? It's going through the process that's most important.
life's amazingly interesting...
