Friday Five and ... fours

Mar 03, 2006 14:28

My dad's picking me up at Kipling at 5:30, so we'll be in Cambridge around 7, I think. Gotta tell him about the living sitch, gotta hang out with Keira before she goes to Honduras. Everything else this weekend should just be lazy.

I talked to Old Navy today about transferring to the Cambridge store and then when I got home I saw they posted the exam schedule ... so I'm waiting for GM Janice to phone me back so I can update her. Classes are done April 13, so I really don't want to stay in Toronto past that. I'm already going to have to live with the neighbours for like two weeks probably. Unless I just get my dad to drive me into the city in the mornings and pick me up in the evenings, and I can spend all day studying and shit. That might work ... depending on my dad. Ugh. This is complicated. I have to convince lots of people that they want me around.

But, in others news, I'm thinking about finishing Young Driver's and getting my G2 relatively soon and buying a shitty car for the summer! Woot! Because getting around Cambridge without one is a fucking nightmare. It shouldn't take me over an hour to get somewhere on the bus that takes me ten minutes to drive to. No indeed. Also, coming to concerts in Toronto will be a lot easier with a car because we won't have to leave early to catch the last bus back to Cambridge. Keira and Jess are going to be living in Galt, and Mandy in Kitchener ... I'm somewhere in between. So it could also lessen travelling time when visiting each other.

Kim (scissorhands_) is probably at Times Square right now, or doing her aimless wandering around New York City. That lucky slut.

Also, I came to the conclusion that I probably want to marry my (Indian) English teacher. I pretty much love him and would want to tap that if he weren't of indeterminable age. His face looks young but his hair has silver streaks. He's got a Ph.D. in English and actually puts the Dr. in front of his name. He's also very bitter when it comes to discussing love; he always states very matter-of-factly how he's been burned by women but never goes into any detail. Maybe one day I'll stand up and yell, "Oh Rahul, I'll love you!" Haha. But probably not. I'm going to miss him when the term is over. One beautiful year together. *tear*

1. Who was your favorite all time teacher(s)? Mrs. Whitely (grade 3), Mrs. Derman and Mr. Mayot (high school).
2. What did they teach? Mrs. Whitely taught almost everything, Mrs. Derman taught grade 10 history, world religions, and something else I can't remember, Mr. Mayot taught economics
3. What is your best memory from that class? They were all just amazing. Classes that I wanted to go to every day, learn something, have fun. The best part about all of the teachers was their stories.
4. Did you ever have a crush on a teacher and if so who? No, not really.
5. What is the craziest/wildest/weirdest thing you (or someone you know) ever did at school? Jason Turner in elementary school was pretty insane.
