There are currently six books and they are by Jacqueline Carey. They are VERY awesome and well worth reading! Kushiel's Dart is the first, IIRC.

They're fairly long (hardback, around 500 pages, although the 6th book was over 600 pages) but they are so well-written and evocative and intriguing that the pages just fly by!

thanks. Yeah im not really that must Christian anymore either. Normally I go by Shadow on the web but this was before I hit my shadow phase. I've had this journal since you've had to be invited to be in it.

Level 3 as in advanced or in Masters?
I was taught levels 1, 2, Advanced and Masters. If you want to contact me let me know. I dont know how your being taught thought.

Kushiel stuff is definitely recommended! I'm sure other people have already answered your questions, but they're by Jacqueline Carey, and the first book is Kushiel's Dart. The 6 books are in 2 trilogies, although the characters overlap. The ifrst series is definitely better than the second series.
