Ok, so I went out Thursday night to get some stuff from the store, I was by myself because Matt was in bed and Holly stayed with the kids. I went up to Dollar General Market and when I was leaving I noticed a guy sitting on the bench outside the store, I looked at him and in the back of my mind thought he could very well rob me, but I figured I was being paranoid, so i continued out to my car, looking around I noticed that I was the only one in the parking lot, thinking again I was being paranoid, I turned my head forward and at that very moment the guy ran up beside me and took my purse out of the cart and looked at me, and ran off.
THANK GOD, he didn't touch me, and I didn't have the purse on me, it was just sitting in the cart so he just grabbed it and ran. Thank God, He was with me and protected me, because it could have turned out much worse.
Everything was in that purse. My debit card, check book, even Holly's check book, ALL of our social security cards, my license, but only $10 in cash. I also had some personal stuff in there, the silver pen with my name engraved in it that I got for my first anniversary and my inhaler, random stuff, I'm not even sure what all was in there, but THANK GOD it is all just stuff, and I can replace it. I wasn't hurt, and even though at that moment I froze and knew good and well that guy could have killed me right there, God was with me and he just took my purse and ran.
So, my phone was in there, and now I have no idea what anybody's numbers are, so if you guys would send me your numbers I'd appreciate it. The police officer said that they would call if they found my purse, but who knows if they will. I have to go tomorrow to make a taped statement.
Anyway, I'm thankful that I got home safe tonight and I'm grateful that God answers prayers, because everytime I leave the house I pray for His protection, and he was with me tonight.
You guys be careful if you go anywhere, and if you have a feeling like something isn't right, just trust it, don't think you're being paranoid, because these things do happen to people, and a lot of times it's much worse than what happened to me.
