lists, and other epic stuff
Things that give me hope for the post-Twilight generation:
-I was at the video rental place about a week ago, and a little boy, maybe five or so, came in with his parents. As soon as he saw all the Buffy DVDs he ran over to them and started chanting "BuffyBuffyBuffyBuffyBuffy..."
-And I was at the bookstore today, where I saw a man in a shirt that said 'TARDIS Express; when it absolutely has to arrive before you sent it.' he had his son with him, in a shirt with the Classic Who logo on the back.
Things I really need to do once I have the money:
-Order a Sonic Screwdriver for my best friend's birthday. I'm getting her Ten's, she's getting me Eleven's.
-Buy a ticket for Kumoricon, since I promised Roz and Em I'd go with them this year.
-Buy fabric to make a Trisha Elric cosplay for Kumoricon. I need to make a dress and an apron; luckily, the design for both is pretty simple.
-Buy my sister dangling sushi earrings and a Naruto poster for her birthday.
-Find something for Roz's birthday.
Things I love a lot at the moment:
-Degrassi: The Next Generation season 10. I am in desperate need of more happy!Riley, and it looks like this season's gonna deliver. Also, the noobie cast members look pretty great. I am especially excited for Adam and Eli. is it weird that I'm shipping them both with Clare, despite having only seen them in the promos so far? Because I am.
-Speaking of, the Degrassi season 10 promo video.
-My fandoms.
-Ex Machina. BKV is officially my favorite writer.
My cousin and aunt are visiting from China, and my uncle is here from Boston, so I'm probably gonna be pretty lurk-y for a week or two. My family is epic cool, and I don't gt to spend nearly enough time with them.
Also, I completely overhauled my journal layout. Whatcha think?
