I keep forgetting I have one of these things!
Okay, not really, but that sounds cute and charming so I'll run with it.
Anyway, I suppose the main reason I haven't been updating is because I have been one busy-ass beaver the past couple of days. I'm working on three motherlovin' dams at the moment, and I never seem to be able to give enough time to either one. The first one is my job. This is the biggest dam, because it has me saying "Damn" in connection with it the most. I don't really mind the place, I know there are worse places to work than an arcade, but still. The place is such a big-ass drama factory it's almost ridiculous. Almost.
The second dam is school. The dam that just keeps coming. Being a Theatre major really changes around the way your classes are, as almost none of mine entail any real kind of work. Just prancing around like a fairy or critically analyzing music videos and the like. Then again this is counter-acted by the whole "no one wants to hire a Theatre major", so there you go.
And theatre rolls into the third dam. And that is my first official acting endeavor! And it's a marquee role, too. See, there's this playwright, Neil Simon. Rather famous fellow; he's a Jewish comedic playwright. Anyway, the Jewish community center in town is doing this thing called "A Night out with Neil Simon", and they want moi to play Neil Simon. Which ain't so bad at all. Plus, I'm under the impression that the director is the general manager of a local theatre company. And in this business it's all about who you know.
And I really need to know a mechanic. BECAUSE CARS SUCK. Suck bad. Transmissions in particular. Especially transmissions that go out on a car during its owner's really busy time of life and say he has to spend $2700+ to fix it ON TOP of the $200+ to fix the brakes. No no no no no no no no no. Bad car. So I want a new one. Any recommendations?
Lastly, I obviously don't post a lot, but this LiveJournal business has led me to meet some very interesting people. And since I'm online at sporadic times as well, I insist that you kids start e-mailing me so I can say I have an e-pen-pal, and I can act all self-important 'n' shit.
Anyway, that's all I got.
Cheers,
Seth
