yay for one year
this weekend was so fun. i was sick thursday and friday which sucked. just a nasty head cold, but still no fun. but, i felt a little better thursday nite, so i went out with everyone downtown. it was fun. i got drunk, which makde me feel even worse than before. so friday, i came home with a terrible headache and nastier cold than before.
but, i slept most of the day and felt better and by friday night, i was ready to start working on justin's anniversary present. we are both kinda poor, so we thought it would be good to set a limit. so we were going to make like a homemade present and anything we bought had to be under 5 bucks.
i decided to make him a scrapbook of our year together. it came out soooo nice, but took me all of friday night and saturday afternoon. i finally finished around 3pm yesterday and had just enough time to shower and get pretty for out night. so he calls me at the last minute and says make sure u wear sneakers and a long sleeved shirt. and i'm like huh? so anyway, i get to his house and he says we are going for a walk. we go through this trail in the woods and he did like a little scavenger hunt thing. on the walk, there was a basket with a note that said "this is to collect things." then a rose stuck in a tree that had a note saying "a rose for a rose". and then there were goodies the whole way. i got bath stuff with candles and lip gloss,etc. and at the end of the little hike, there was a clearing. and at the clearing was a cooler that contained a bottle of sangria, two wine glasses and a pint of ben and jerry's peanut butter cup. my favorite. :)
it was sooooo adorable. and he also wrote me a note that said how much he loved me. my hair, my smile, my humor, my ability to light up a room...etc. it was amazing. and so romantic. i know he has it in him and i love when it comes out. ;)
anyway, he loved my scrapbook. i was so glad! and we went to dinner and then saw kicking and screaming. sooo freakin funny. i loved it.
and then we went back to his house and had some sangria and hung out, etc. it was an amazing first anniversary. i look forward to many more.
today, we woke up and snuggled for a long time and then i came home so i could shower and stuff. we were gonna play catch and stuff, but he ended up having to go to his aunt's house to help her rip down a barn or something. so i basically watched movies and slept. i think tonight we might go to paul's and watch tv.
