2004!
I was reading my journal and I saw that I filled this thing out last year. It reminded me of some good times...so I decided to reminisce a little about 2004!
best of the year:
1. party: there were so many. maybe that party downtown after opening night of the senior show. or my birthday. or timmy's birthday. i can't choose!
2. show: sex and the city. the final episode. and friends. so sad.
3. cd: duh. britney's greatest hits.
4. movie: napoleon dynamite. so f'in funny.
5. song: too many to choose from. or maybe too little to choose from.
6. experience: starting out in the "real world." and retreat.
7. concert: trans-siberian orchestra. amazing.
8. book: a bend in the road. the notebook. davinci code.
9. month: may and october.
10. day: hmmm...may 14th.
worst of the year:
1. party: i think that party at liz's apartment. all the boys complained. and we kicked people out.
2. show: that gilligan's island reality show.
3. cd: no idea.
4. movie: that movie at paul's with the girls in bikini's trying to act.
5. song: rumors by lindsay lohan. just bad.
6. experience: starting out in the "real world."
7. concert: n/a
8. book: n/a
9. month: january was stressful. march too.
10. day: may 15th. very sad.
during 2004:
1. where were you when it began?: at korrie's house ringing in the new year with the gang. we all got extremely drunk. smoked in jake's car. laughed a lot. puked a lot. had pictures taken of us and post-it's stuck to us. haha.
2. did you stay up?: yes. way past midnight.
3. what was your new year wish?: a fresh start.
4. how many boyfriends?: one very special one.
5. any break ups?: nope.
6. have any crushes?: of course.
7. go to a concert?: trans-siberian and something else i think.
8. make any new friends?: yes. some very good ones.
9. had to say goodbye?: unfortunately.
10. missed anyone?: yes.
11. win anything?: offhand... i won tickets on the radio. i won a stuffed animal at the fair. thats about it.
12. best place you went to?: VA beach and North Carolina with the Fedors.
13. worst place you went to?: Panera Bread.
14. happiest moment?: retreat, the senior show, senior gala, the whole summer...
15. how was your birthday?: amazing! one awesome weekend of celebrating.
16. best present?: my car. (a present to myself) or my necklace from justin.
17. go to a party?: yes.
18. try something new?: i'm sure...
19. have someone change your life?: maybe the way i look at things and the way i see myself.
20. kiss someone?: of course.
21. tell your family and friends you love them?: a ton.
22. buy something extravagant?: spent way too much money on clothes and alcohol.
23. do something nice for yourself?: see above.
24. do something terribly wrong?: define wrong. haha.
25. did you have to move?: yes. back home. ugh.
hopes for 2005:
1. predict something that you think will happen in 2004?: i will get into shape. Get even better at my job. Get my own apartment.
2. what do you hope changes about your country?: i hope that we can stop worrying about our safety and i hope that i can be confident that our government is doing the best they can. and up until now, i haven't felt that way...
3. what do you hope for yourself?: that i learn to love myself a little bit more. and that i can be as happy as i am now...forever.
4. what do you hope for your family?: that things get a little easier financially, that i spend a little more time with them and that they are all healthy and happy.
5. what do you hope for your best friend?: happiness. success. love.
