And here I go, still not unpacked.
I arrived home Thursday night and I still havent unpacked. I am determined to clean out our closets and drawers before we unpack. I predict it will be a slow process.
Yesterday afternoon a friend called and told me to drive up to Chicago and go to check out a DJ at a club (Carlos D from Interpol). After more pressure from another friend, I packed an overnight bag and drove up to Chicago. We went to the club a little early because it was free drinks till ten so we wanted to get our drinks to even out the cover charge for the club. It was an after set for Lollapalooza so it was packed but very much worth the drive.
Having a chat with Carlos at a club is always going to be worth the drive up to Chicago (Mirai I will email you the details as only you will appreciate it).
I came back early today and I am damn tired.
Instead of cleaning the house and unpacking, I avoided it all this weekend. (Not very adult of me but heck, who cares).
