All Apologies
For those of you who may think otherwise i just wanted to announce that THERE WILL BE NO PARTY THIS WEEKEND. Yes, thanksgiving 2 has been canceled this year. Im pretty darn depressed about it right now too, but its for the best. There's been so much going on these past few weeks with moving in and trying to get everything in order in the new place that i just dont have the time or energy to pull this thing off. Im really sorry to everyone who was expecting our annual post-Thanksgiving bash to go down bigger and better than ever, as i had promised it would be. I'm especially sorry to you guys who have been there since the idea was concieved in the hallways of Chariho, on a whim. And i'm even MORE sorry to those of you who would be experiencing the November Miracle for the first time. This would be year 7, but i guess it didnt turn out to be so lucky :(. There'll be other parties this year, but The Sequel With No Equal has always held a special place in my heart. It was the first highschool party i ever threw, and the only one i threw that actually took place at my house (New Year's 2000 anyone? :) heh heh heh). So in the somber day after Thanksgiving (which i shall forever refer to as "Black Friday") when your leftovers are sitting in your fridge, no one is playing a guitar or singing along, you can barely remember the rules to Mao, and you feel like vomiting just by thinking of Preston's Peanut Butter Death Pie, take a moment to say a prayer for this, holiest of all holidays, and reflect upon the good times we've had. Next year guys...next year.
