Sorry, I forgot to get on here and update. I did hear back from the genetic counselor last week and the collagen tests came back positive for OI Type II. That's actually good news in the whole scheme of things because OI Type II is a random genetic mutation, meaning we did not pass it down to Faith. That puts our recurrence risk to only 2-5%. That is extremely low in comparison to other genetic issues. The chance that anyone would have a baby with OI Type II is extremely rare- it's like 1:10,000 (but don't quote me on that). I guess we were just that lucky 1.
