Yeah, yeah, it's really late. I'm trying to graduate over here. Bite me.
I can't take credit for the punchline, as this is pretty much a word-for-word transcription of a conversation that Michael and I had while fishing at a picnic. I like this comic because it illustrates one of Michael's great skills: letting me talk myself into a corner and then saying something horrible and funny to shut me up. I still think it's weird that he can't bait a hook, though.
Today I saw David Willis's collection of Transformers at the Drexel Gateway. I always forget that the dude who draws Its Walky! lives in Columbus. I want to write him an email like "ha ha dude I know where your toys are", but that would be silly. Plus, I could just as easily find him in the theater watching Transformers for the 500th time (and presumably masturbating furiously). But I really don't want to see that. What is it with webcomic creators and Columbus?
Busy busy busy. In a little over a week, I start my new job writing for the Center for Developing Communities here in Columbus. 9 bucks an hour and benefits and I only have to come in 4 days a week? Hell yes and thank you. Plus, I actually care about the cause I'll be working for, so I won't mind doing the boring-er jobs. I will miss my current job a lot, but this one is just...well, it's way better.
I graduate in a little over a month. I am so not ready.
