Comic #46: its an artistic decision goddamnit
Um...hi. Miss me?
No better way to come back from a long absence then some ridiculous metahumor about my inability to draw. I like to imagine that all of my characters are at a sorry loss when I am not drawing them, and beat their little armpods against their badly drawn props in sad futility until I return to draw them back into their hands.
So, yeah. I took a long unannounced break. Not cool. Basically I kind of had a semi-breakdown because of stress and whatnot. I was not dealing with stuff well, and the only solution was to cut everything nonessential out until I got things back together. I figured it would just be a couple days, no need to announce it (not like this comic runs on the most regular schedule), but weeks become months and...well, you know.
The people who managed to penetrate into my sanctum santorum asked me to bring it back. Or expressed mild confusion about why it wasn't there. Or didn't mention it, but I'm sure it was in their hearts. Anyway, I want to start doing comics again, so if anyone still wants to read them, hey! Awesome! I really missed doing comics. Quitting was a mistake, but stressing out about them was too. I'm just gonna take it easy and have fun.
The only difference is that I have a private blog now, and intend to keep my personal life private from this work. I'll also link to people I like in the sidebar, so if I'm your buddy and you'd like to linktrade let me know.
