"who's up for game three.."
one of my biggest pet peeves is when people write something off before they even experience it or take the time to listen to it. another one of my biggest pet peeves is when people write it off, take the time to listen, THEN love it. megan and j gave me such a hard time about listening to O.A.R.. they bitched in the car whenever i played them. i dragged them to the concert, where they stood there... looking bored.
now, all of a sudden, O.A.R. is their favorite band? now all the songs don't sound the same? now they want to go see them in concert again and buy t-shirts and albums?
THEN, i make fun of them for hating the band at first, and they get mad! what the hell. i had to be made fun of for FOUR FUCKING MONTHS because they heard ONE song and decided it was a stupid hippie band.
whatever.
