Summary: Sehun insisted that there are no wolves in Hong Kong. Baekhyun proves otherwise.

Whoever said "Thank God it's Friday" clearly had never experienced piles after piles of school project and assignments that were due the next Monday. That was what Baekhyun was experiencing at the moment; being a last year Art student really wasn't beautiful. But then again, he only had to deal with this for a few more months, and then he'd be free to do what he wanted. (Not really, but he liked to think he'd have his freedom back after graduation. Well, he'd just have to see, then.)
His steps back home were heavy, as if he was dragging his legs. King was walking beside him, tail wagging happily and just overall happy even though Baekhyun was exhausted. "Must be nice being a dog..." he mumbled, which King returned with a playful "at least no sleepless nights for me." He could only sigh.
When the building of his residence was in sight, Baekhyun straightened his posture, back cracking and sore, eager to go under his warm blanket. "Baekhyun," King called, making him turn around, following King's line of sight. His eyes widened as a smile bloomed on his face. "Eden!"
It was evening, already past dinner time so the streets and the park near Mansfield Quarters were empty. Baekhyun ran to where the red wolf was before trapping him in a hug. "I missed you!" he exclaimed, feeling the wolf nuzzle into his jacket. "You're overreacting, Baekhyun, it hasn't even been a week," Eden reminded him, amused. Baekhyun chuckled, releasing his friend from the hug and scratching behind Eden's ears, letting King greet Eden with a lick to his neck.

Sehun’s hungry; really, really hungry that he thinks he can eat a whole buffet table from the way his stomach was growling. He hasn’t eaten any dinner yet since Baekhyun hasn’t arrived from school to cook for him. The older male had told him he’d be running a little late tonight, but said he would be sure to get back home before dinnertime and serve him his meal.
But it’s already past dinnertime and Baekhyun still hasn’t arrived. And now Sehun’s suffering a terrible hunger. He had tried texting and calling him but the older male had his phone turned off. He could just go and cook something for himself, but that wouldn’t be a really good idea after the last time tried to cook and almost burned down Baekhyun’s kitchen. His hyung had banned him from cooking for life after that and would cut his throat if he ever finds out that he touched his stove. So he was left with no other choice. He would just have to settle with instant noodles for now.
Sehun took his wallet and quickly went out of the apartment with only a red jacket, jeans and a pair of worn-out sneakers on. The streets were already deserted when he stepped out since it was kind of late already. The path towards the nearest convenience shop was even quieter and kind of creepy since it passes next to the woods. Then he suddenly stopped on his tracks when he saw someone crouching on the edge of the woods. He squint his eyes to get a better look of the said person. His back looked familiar... Oh, it’s Baekhyun! There was no doubt it was his hyung and his blasted pup. But what was he doing there?
"Baekhyun-hyung? Is that you? Who are you talking to?" Sehun squinted even more as he walked closer to him. The area was kind of dark so he couldn’t really make out the animal that was trapped between Baekhyun’s arms. It looked like a dog... oh god, please don’t let it be another dog.

"How are things going for you and the others?" Baekhyun asked, beaming at his wolf friend, exhaustion seeming to dissipate into thin air. Like Eden said, it hadn't even been a week, but for Baekhyun, it was enough time for him to worry about his friends. "We're doing well. The pups miss you. Maybe it's time for you to visit us again," Eden answered, and if he was a human, he'd have cocked an eyebrow in a teasing manner. To this, Baekhyun grinned before promising, "soon. Really soon. I'll be done with some of my projects next week so I'll make sure to spare some time for you." King barked in agreement, snuggling his snout into Eden's jaw.
Eden was about to retort, but his attention was immediately drawn to somewhere else. "Is that your friend?" Baekhyun turned around just when his name was called. "Sehun-ah," he called, relieved that it wasn't someone he didn't know very well. King's happy bark at seeing Sehun made him smile. "Oh, you haven't met each other right? Sehun-ah, this is Eden. He's my very first friend here in Hong Kong." Then he turned back towards Eden. "Eden, this is Sehunnie." King let out another bark; the pup seemed to be really happy seeing Sehun that he was wagging his fluffy tail.
"Ah, the one you're always talking about," and if Eden was a human, he'd definitely snicker right now. Baekhyun felt his cheeks heating up a bit. "Shut up," he mumbled, shifting his attention back to Sehun. "Eden lives with his pack in Aberdeen Country Park. Sometimes he comes here to see me. Sometimes I go to his place." Baekhyun shrugged, standing straight on his feet again. "Looks like King likes him very much," Eden suddenly pointed out. Blinking, Baekhyun let out a snort; King might actually like Sehun more than him, really. "King likes him because he's all bones. Kid looks like a walking stick, King might chase him to the end of the earth." At that, King barked again, agreeing whole-heartedly.

"Yah, I am not a walking stick." Sehun scoffed at what Baekhyun said to his animal friend, totally disagreeing with it. He might be in the lean side but he’s definitely not that skinny. He’s got the muscles on the right places if you look closely at him. "Can you see these arms?" He flexed his arms to show off his muscles to them. "These babies will blow you away." He kissed them both and grinned. "Well, not now, obviously. But soon they will."
"And you." Sehun pointed a glare at King, keeping a good distance from the overexcited pup. "You stay away from me, you evil beast!" He hissed at the Samoyed, showing his teeth to look menacing and somehow scare the pup away. However, like always, King just yelped happily at him with its tail wagging in the air as it tries to go towards him. Thank God he’s on a leash or the evil incarnate would be terrorizing him by now.
"Eden? Is that their real name or did you name them yourself again..." He chuckled as he circled around to get closer to his hyung, while still maintaining a good distance away from King. Wait. Did he say pack??? Do dogs live in packs? He quickly stopped in his tracks when he got a better look at Eden. The animal is kind of big for a dog. And it has a longer muzzles and legs, larger feet and head, eyes wilder and colder... Basing from all those times he was forced to spend watching animal planet by the older male...
"Hyung, that’s a..." Sehun stepped a little closer, squinting a little to take a better look at the animal. "Hyung, that’s a wolf!! Oh my god! You actually found a wolf!" His eyes instantly widened and clumsily took a few steps back. His shoe caught on something invisible and slipped, falling to the ground on his butt.
