Summary: Junsu is called towards a death, not realizing it's too late to save them and encounters Changmin instead.
Junsu had just been about to get off work and head home when he felt it. A shiver went down his back, one he'd felt many times before in the past. It was a sign that someone was about to die. Maybe if he rushed he could get there in time to save them before it happened.
It was something he was used to by now, having gone through the same thing for decades. A shiver, then an overwhelming sense of disconnection with the world. He never received a name, that would have been too easy. But he could discern a location, which was what tended to help him find the person in need of help. There was always something missing, however. Especially if he arrived and the person was dead already. He felt there was something else he had to do, but he didn't know what.
This time around, it was a car accident. He'd arrived just in time to see the current paramedic team pull out a teenage boy, only to have them pull a sheet over the body. He was too late. Again.
