driving the wrong way

Hey all,
So, we played in Portland on Tuesday. Hopefully Jackson will develop the pictures soon, and we'll post them. If any of you have driven down to portland before, you'll recognize some of the landmarks. We had many adventures, including parking hazards, getting lost (even in the incredibly easy to navigate city), and driving the wrong way on a one way street (sorry Jackson, I had to say something).
We played an event called "the rock camp for girls", which is where they take a group of girls in their teens, teach them instruments, and form them into bands where they play in a showcase. Our show was a benefit for the camp. We were the only young band, and the only actual "rock/indie" band of the night. The whole situation felt very strange, oppressive, and certainly, not what we were expecting. Hardly any of the campers were even there.
But, being the band with high spirits that we are (and no, that's not a joke), we got up on that stage and kicked some ass. Once we were on the stage, we noticed this one girl totally getting into the music. She made our night. We took a few photos with her, and she completely inspired the whole night, for me at least.
All in all, I think we made the best of the whole situation.
I'm leaving town in a few days, but I'll only be gone about 12 days. Hopefully we'll have something planned by the time I get back from Suburban IL. Yikes!

Hearts,
Keenan- Paxil Rose
