I am thinking about training for eventing next year, doing some BN stuff in the next 2 years or so (if I get my nerve up) - do you think we could hack it!?
I definitely think you guys could go eventing!! The best thing about eventing, is that ANY horse can do it!! :) Find a good eventing trainer to help you out, especially when starting out with the cross country stuff. You absolutely need a seasoned horse and rider to come with you guys the first couple times schooling, to give you leads and set a good example. Those first few times are THE most important, I can't stress enough. You want it to be absolutely fun and easy and everything needs to be 100% positive for Gabby! The horses really get into cross country, and really seem to enjoy it!
So definitely go for it!! It really is SUCH a blast, even if you just stick to the lower level stuff:) It really is addicting;) And you can totally pick my brains about it anytime if you want! :)
