I buy a lot of my books on eBay to be honest! I click the books category and there's a whole category for metaphysical and paranormal books. I've gotten a few books for DIRT CHEAP!! As far as book recommendations...I guess it would depend on what subject within paranormal that you're into reading. Let me know and I'll suggest my favorites. As for general paranormal information, I kinda liked "This Baffling World" by John Goodwin. If you like paranormal stories, "True Tales of the Paranormal" by Kimberly Molto is good. Like I said, let me know what you're into and I'll give you some more suggestions.
