Entering the school's interior, the school was terribly overwhelming. It wasn't a school -- it was more of a social meeting place. The hallways were filled with decorations and antiques, along with cliques of students swarming around Taemin as he passed by. Although he had a map in his hands, it didn't seem to be helping at all. The school had six gyms, four cafeterias for each grade, and three auditoriums. One library. This was definitely not a education environment at all. Once he had found his first class, Ancient World History, the whole class seemed to have already found their seats. After introducing himself to the teacher, his eyes scanned the classroom, meeting a familiar face. On... Onew was his name? He started smiling like a idiotic child at Taemin, and he couldn't help but to quickly look away, embarrassed. What was he so happy about? The bell's sound rang throughout the classroom, and all the students filed into their correct seats; their eyes now directed right towards Taemin. "Welcome back, all of y'all. As you should have already noticed, we have a new student that will be joining us today. Would you mind introducing yourself?"
Clearing his throat before speaking, he made sure his voice would be projected loud and clear. "Anyoung, my name's Lee Taemin. I transferred schools from Dongbonggu. I hope we can all be friends!" He bowed, and on the way of coming back up, the responses from the students weren't so pleasant as Taemin would have liked. Little side conversations and whisperings quickly were brought up, and the classroom was noisy in seconds. The teacher tapped with force on his desk, causing the room to fall quiet again. "Now now, you animals, please be quiet. Taemin as for you... looks like the only seat available is next to Jinki, in front of Kibum. Could you two raise your hands? You can get to your seat now Taemin." Onew's hand was shot right up, and as for the figure in the seat behind of him, the hand was barely raised, with a face buried into the desk. Quickly getting to his seat, he was almost tripped from a foot coming out of nowhere. "A commoner, how filthy." "Just to think I'll be going to school with that thing! Ugh!" "He can't even afford a proper uniform!" Remarks targeted towards him could be heard from every which direction. Getting himself together, he sat down with caution into his new seat. "Taem! I told you, I told you. I knew we'd meet again some how. I'm On--" Taemin faced him, nodding. "Onew. Jinki." Onew fell silent for a second, but cheered up right away. "Key key! Isn't it great? I finally have a partner! Now I won't be alone and --" A voice was heard from behind Taemin, one that was tired and full of agony. "God Jinki, I'm not blind. Don't bother me today, I'm not in the best of moods, can't you see?" Taemin didn't dare turn or make any rash movements, feeling the intense set of eyes on his back. "Kibum seems like he's PMSing, psh." Taking a gulp, he laid out his utensils, as the teacher started class.
He had no idea if it was God's punishment or just mere coincidence, but Onew had found interest in stalking Taemin wherever he went. And it didn't help that he had five out of seven classes with him too. "So I was thinking we should eat lunch together. Because were almost destined to be together! Right Kibum? Don't you think so?" Oh, and it was the same situation with Key also. Although Key hadn't talked most of the day, always drifting into deep thoughts or pissed about something. "Yeah yeah.. let's just eat lunch." Something about Kibum just had Taemin want to stay away from him. Or at least for today... just until he was in a better mood. Taemin had expected they would be going to a cafeteria to eat, but the three students were currently heading up the stairs, sneaking up to somewhere. "Just where are we going? I mean.. the doors back there were locked, I don't think this is a good thing to do.." The final door opened, letting in a crisp breeze of air. "Shhh, my dad's close with the principal, it's fine. It's our hiding place, and the place we eat lunch." They had stepped onto what it looked like the balcony of the school, deserted and free of students or any people in general. Taking a seat on the ground, Kibum and Onew took out their lunch boxes, as Taemin dived into his book bag for his. "Mmm mm. Fried chicken is always good." Only thing was... that it wasn't there. He'd left it on the kitchen counter top because of getting angry at Minho this morning. It wasn't like he could go buy something from the cafeteria either -- the food prices were insane. "All you ever eat is chicken! Marinated chicken, fried chicken, flavored chicken, roasted chicken..." Kibum was snacking on some carrots, with a disgusted look on his face. "Because chicken's awesome! Nom nom nom, I wish I'd have all the chicken in the world, all the chicken in the world! ~ Taemin, you aren't eating? You want some chicken? I can't give you a big one but.. you can have a wing!" Shaking his hands, he smiled rejecting the offer. "Nah, no thanks. I think I'm going to go down to the cafeteria to grab something to eat. I'll see you guys later!" He then dashed towards the door, grabbing his backpack. "Hey! Taem! Come back! Alright alright I'll give you a leg! Two pieces! Three!"
Running down the stairs, Onew's voice faded, and Taemin sighed, catching the eyes of various students. Whisperings began again, and his walking steps were quick, trying to get out of this environment. The only place deserted was outside the school, near by the entrance. Taemin plopped down onto a bench, his confidence slowly declining by the second. He was alone, already getting remarks thrown at, and hungry. Shoving his face into his hands, Taemin felt like he should just go home. Coming to a big school in uptown Seoul wasn't such a good idea after all. Hearing steps in front of him, he raised his head, seeing his familiar bright yellow power rangers lunchbox. His eyes elevated, seeing no one but... Minho.
