Trying to buy a bed has been THE most stressful part of moving back to Oregon, besides not knowing the dimensions of my room, not having a car rented, a set date, my mothers hotel booked, or a flight back for her. But come on. IKEA doesnt have the perfect bed, nor do they have one worth the crappy quality of their bed line. Everyplace else I look with the style I want is oh, REALLY EXPENSIVE. I could buy a box spring and matress and stick it on the floor, but im trying to avoid the trashy look, and make a really nice space. Everything I find on craigslist etc is like, uuuggglllyyyy, or just a metal frame on wheels, which I'd take a boxspring on the ground over. SO.....perhaps I'll just bring a sleeping bag and thermarest and chill on the floor.....
