Ummm.....I'm leaving for china soon.
This is odd to me. I dont travel much. I would normally be in Caz about now, and certainly not in China. I mean, I'm going to fucking China. I dont have a positive attitude. 13 hour plane rides with cold Chinese stewards (the reviews of air china said so!) with airplane food in assigned seating away from friends does not bode well for a pleasent start. Besides....SFO no longer has a Jamba Juice, which I religiously drink before plane rides with my airborne. Maybe the International terminal has one...PLEASE GOD PLEASE! I also must wear a dorky YPSO tshirt for every single tourist event and a tux for every concert. I was told 2 or 3 tshirts of my own was enough for 10 days out of the country....fucking brilliant. How can I show of my rad style? FYI, I cut my hair...I can now maintain a fauxhawk type hairdo, though the middle is currently a bit to short, and the front perfect, which means it will grow out NOT perfect.
Brilliant. Beijing tomorrow=a high of 95 with 43% humidity....it then plans on remaining just as high but raining for the last 5 days of the trip. By the time I get to Shanghai on the 26th, the temps are predicted to be in the high 80's, with humidity up to 70% with thunderstorms. Fucking lovely. I'm a wimp for weather....i like cold, dark rain....not monsoon rain!!!

I get to play principle clarinet with the seccond clarinet from 4 chinese university orchestra's, including the Shanghai Conservatory with the conducter from the chinese university on the podium....that should be interesting.
I get almost ZERO shopping and eating time on my own...sucky....stupid group tourist shit, group meals, and no wandering...I mean, i would get killed or robbed by my own stupidity in no time, but COME ON!! And no coed room visitations, meaning the woodwind drinking party is sketchy....it may now be a gender seperated party......
