# Theo's goals against Croatia
Theo was brilliant in England World Cup Qualifying match today against Croatia. =) He scored his first international goal, plus 2 others, including a lovely hat-trick.

Walcott: We Were Absolutely Brilliant
The result condemned Croatia to their first ever home competitive defeat in qualifying, yet three goal Walcott refused to take all the credit for the result.
Speaking to Setanta Sports after the game, the Arsenal teenager said: “There were eleven stars, a whole team of stars out there today. We just showed to everyone, the fans, everyone involved with England, how strong we were as a unit. We just proved it tonight, it was absolutely brilliant.”
England manager Fabio Capello surprised many by picking Walcott in his starting lineup, ahead of David Beckham, and the Arsenal youngster admitted he was grateful for the opportunity. He admitted: “I’m just grateful he gave me the opportunity and I’ve just got to take that forwards now in each and every game and keep on improving.”
Walcott's first two goals were similar in execution and he admitted as much after the game. He explained: “The first two were very similar. I tend to cross those a lot, so I though this time I would be a bit more greedy.”
The goals helped to silence what is usually a noise home crowd in Zagreb, and Walcott praised the away fans for their support. He confessed: “Its brilliant. You always want to see fans happy. They were brilliant tonight. They’ll always spur us on. We just want to prove to everyone how good we are and I’m sure if we keep on playing like that it’ll be fine.”
The result against Croatia is likely to fill the England camp with confidence and Walcott admitted that he believed the win proved Capello's men could beat anyone on their day.
“Well it just shows how together we are since this whole camp,” said Walcott before concluding, “The football we were playing was been absolutely brilliant and the goals we just scored so you know we can do that against anyone.”
