My torrid love affair with Aristotle
Had my Philosophy 100 class today. The professor seems like a nice guy, pretty interesting and the class should be a snap to get an A in. It's more about the actual learning experience than grades with him so he lays it out for you and makes it easy to get an A, if you want one. (Which I do.)
Went to a concert last night. Saw Ben Folds, Ben Lee and Rufus Wainwright. Ben Folds was awesome, his ability to play the piano like that is cool, and kinda hot. We ended forming a mosh type pit thing even though the concert was held in an old Symphony Hall constructed in the 30s. Ben Lee is cute in a goofy looking way, I like his Australian accent. =)
Rufus however managed to be nearly every negative gay stereotype in one neat package. It would have pissed me off but then he kept singing and his voice rivals that of the angel's. In between each song were monologues that went like this:
Rufus: "Hey, you know, it's really important to like, support the gay community..."
Crowd: "Ow!" "Whoo!" "Do me!"
Rufus: "You know, they treat us and [unintelligible mumbling] but they do the same to women..."
Crowd: ...."Ow!"
Rufus: "So like don't believe stuff, you know?"
Crowd: "Do me!"
Then he sang a song about his penis. It was the prettiest song about wang I've ever heard.
