christmas, bitch
i guess it's a little late for a holiday update, but our comp's been out the past few days...and then when had to build our new computer desk. and organize cds. and reformat the hardrive. ahh!
this year was pretty good. christmas eve went to paternal uncle's, brought german chocolate cake, turkey, and other stuff. presents were mediocre (my aunt never really responds to my mother's suggestions), but it's all good. my grandfather pulled in the most loot, actually. everyone got him like, 2 presents. with age comes presents.
christmas day we drove out to maternal uncle's. new baby!! i realy love small children. my maternal instincts were going crazy. sigh...babies. i got the day after tommorow from them, because my uncle has gone DVD crazy, and is in love with that movie and I, Robot. i guess it didn't occur to him that i am a girl. and have dearly loved his Borders gift certificate phase.
parents got us good stuff. family presents of the computer desk, a crazy beady lamp for the living room, new rolly chairs (one in my room now!).
i got CDs (zeppelin, jump little children, david mead, the beatles), a DVD player for my room, since my brother stole back his PS2 that he gave me last christmas, colorful tights, pajama pants, books (davinci code, the latest louise rennison, bridget jones edge of reason), gorgeous socks from my dad, a big photo album, rainbow shoelaces, and candy in my stocking, of course.
damn. that's a long list.
yeah, so on to a week of sleeping late, tea, and comfort novels.
