ahh...the smell of used books!
today was the last day of the library book sale (where bags are $2 and boxes are $5), and me and dad went. i packed a boxful for myself, and then waited around while dad finished up three. it was a bittersweet experiance, and i came away exhausted, but content at my finds. plus, i found a leguine for my brother, and a kaye gibbons and clan of the cave bears for my mother. and helped dad. i guess it was a bonding experiance. and even though it took up three hours of my morning, and i havnet even started on homework, that's somehow ok.
yesterday i hung out with jenna in the afternoon. which was really cool. she's got her car now, and this friend kelly, from wisconsin. we messed around the mall some, then drove around, to hilsborough street and stuff, then she dropped me off. we're gonna try and hang out friday, maybe with teri.
then i went with mom to see Exit the Body, ravenscroft's fall play. and this guy, mike, was in it. my mom knows his mom, bla, bla, and he's a ravenscroft kid, but pretty down to earth for that standard. and he's cute. and tall. and has nice hands. our mom's have been kind of trying to set us up, so, we'll see what happens. i definitely think it could work.
this week....looks like it will be tiring. but pretty good. GSA watches laramie project on tuesday. who knows when the game wil happen. just more evidence that we're terribly unproductive and unsupported. but really, bitching about it is stupid. so i won't.
i've decided not to go on the orchestra trip to orlando. i really don't want to be stuck in the middle of disney world with a cello on my back, surrounded by people i don't like.
i think i'm going to make a fritata.
