I spent most of the day today with Annie and Jennie. Jennie had a doctor's appointment this morning and Annie can't drive so I went over to pick them up and bring them. Ends up the appointment got all messed up and the doctor wasn't even in, so we had to reschedule for Wednesday. No worries--we went to church and showed Jennie off to Sr. Thaddeus, Mrs. Morrissey, Fran, Fr. Bob, all the teachers...basically everyone! Then we went home and had lunch and took Jennie for a walk. It was beautiful out and so great to get to talk to Annie just about stuff. She's really easy to talk to and very open about and toward everything, so I never feel judged by her or uncomfortable when I want to talk about something personal. I'm learning what Jennie's different cries mean and how to soothe her in different situations. Of course, I can't do anything for her when she's hungry except give her to Annie, but I can burp her, put her to sleep and change her. I also learned how to put her carseat in the car. It was quite the day, full of baby things, and I loved it! I am so in love with this baby, and I'm going to miss her when I have to leave in August. Tomorrow I'm doing something exciting and new, but I can't tell you all what it is until I post tomorrow, so get excited people! I'm also finally getting my fingerprints! Mom and I are going to find the police station together and make sure we get there for my appointment. Though it might be a round-a-bout way, I think we'll follow the directions from mapquest. Wednesday is another day with Annie and Jennie. We have to go to the doctor and to the hospital to get Jennie an ultrasound. Her hips have been clicking a bit, and they need to check it out to make sure that she doesn't need to be put in a brace or a cast. The doctor is pretty sure that she's going to be fine, but they want to take the proper precautions. I guess that's all the excitement I have to share for now.
