EQUIFEST!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm BACK! Haha! It was oh-so-much fun!
Lets see.. we left on Friday and got there around 9-ish. We were on the second floor, adn we decided that Maggie and I would get the Murphy bed, and Courtney would get the pullout couch(The parental units were upstairs). We played cards, then started being goofy children. After that we watched Remember the Titans.... yeah.
So Sat. we get up around 8, go eat breakfast, then drive around town a bit. WEll, we decided to switch hotels, and we went and checked out and reserved 2 rooms at the Radisson. Then we headed off to Equifest... and the fun began.
First we listended to this talk about "visualizing" byu Jane Savoie. It was soooo funny, but it was really cool too. After that we went shopping! I drooled over horse trailers, and saddles, and about a million other things. Then we watched part of a jumping clinic.. and then shopped some more. And guess what I got? A NEW SADDLE! It's a Wintec 500 w/ CAIR panels. It came with fittings too, and fits Remi WONDERFULLY!
Yeah, so then we went and ate at a restaraunt called "Spangles". It was fun. Then we went to the Radisson, and Courtney, Maggie, and I all shared a room. WE ended up running around for 45 minutes looking for a non-existent jacuzzi. IT was sooo fun though. Then we went backt o our room, took showers, watched Law & Order, then went to bed.
Sunday.... we got up, ate breakfast, went back upstairs to pack and get ready, then we checked out and went back to Equifest. We got there and watched another jumping clinic, then I went and drooled over my helmet that I want, and we decided to leave so we could go ride today.
We drove home, got home, went to ride... and my saddle fit Remi perfectly, so I rode in it. He was VERY good too! Defniitely in a good mood... He even bucked a bit when I asked him to canter the first time(happy bucks, not get-off-me-now bucks) . Then we did some exercises. After I untacked him, I had to clean out my tack locker so I could fit both saddles in there, then Courtney and I played with Pamela's new bunny! It is soooo cute!
