Going through the rooms of Shadowcrest, it was easy to see how Zatanna could forget where some were (or weren't) and what was in them; the big, lofty mansion was even larger on the inside with its infinite amount of rooms, some in strange pocket dimensions. Her front door could lead to anywhere and everywhere, and not always where she wanted to be.

When entering a room she couldn't recall being in for some time and giving it a look-see only to find it... not being familiar at all, Zatanna wasn't surprised. It wasn't anything special, really. No magic books, no cursed artifacts (that she was aware of)... just what appeared to be an entirely different wing of the mansion.

No. It wasn't. This wasn't Shadowcrest.

A step backwards, she sharply turns on her heel with intent to leave before it ends up being much too late, though she knows it already is. It was too late the moment that she turned the handle on the door and stepped in. Zatanna silently cursed her own actions. She should have known better--she should have sensed this. She was getting rusty, considering she couldn't even detect magic this strong. Taking another step, she puts her hand on the door knob and closes her eyes. "Ekat em emoh," her voice is quiet, hopeful. Her gloved hand clenches tightly and turns the knob. Zatanna opens her eyes... brick wall. "Damn it. Well, no use staying here." She turns around again, more curious than worried. Laid-back? Probably just a little. No reason to freak out when it will do no good.

Spotting someone in the distance, Zee rushes forward and raises an arm, waving it. "Hey! Hey you, there! How about giving a nice lady like me a helping hand, huh?"
