New Icon To Celebrate Me Being Reasonably Productive
So I got my payout from Textbroker, got caught up the month of rent I was behind, paid for my "admission" to the neighborhood block party, went grocery shopping, finished up my 2nd monthly feature article for Associated Content, and in an hour, I'm about to clean the entire downstairs bathroom but good.
To celebrate a relatively-high-energy day and also refresh myself with using GIMP, I went and made a new animated icon, based on the Hyperbole And Half Comic about energy, accomplishment and responsibility.
Man I love Ubuntu and all, but even with all the strides GIMP has made, the UI still has a long way to go-- GIMPshop doesn't really fix much, and some of the deeper issues, like how it handles layers is a paaaiiiin. But I accomplished what I was looking to do, so...
I'll have to kind of hold on to my mental batteries. There's a dude who's buying three of the DVDs, I'm selling on craigslist, so that's another three bucks. I'm looking forward to unwinding with some lemon garlic pepper marinated steak and maybe a beer tonight while watching me some pro wrasslin'.
