"Wake up," Nino says. Not that Ohno is really sleeping, but more like his mind is wandering after drinking too much from the minibar of Nino's hotel room. It's sort of like sleeping.
"Eh?"
"It's midnight," Nino says.
"So?"
"So it's my birthday," Nino says. "Tell me happy birthday."
"It's not your birthday..." Ohno says.
"Well it could be!" Nino says. "And then wouldn't you feel bad?"
"I wouldn't forget your birthday," Ohno says. "I'd give you a present."
"What kind of a present."
"Something nice," Ohno says.
Nino pokes Ohno's shoulder. "Alright," he says. "I'm holding you to that."
"What about me?" Ohno asks.
"What about you?"
"My birthday," Ohno says. "Will you give me a present?"
"No," Nino says.
"Why not?"
"Because then you'll start to get ideas!" Nino says. "And I'll have to get you a present for every birthday and holiday and I have a very busy schedule..."
"Oh..." Ohno says. "Well, okay."
Nino snickers. Then pokes Ohno's knee.
"I'll give you a kiss," Nino says.
"What?" Ohno asks.
"What?" Nino echoes.
Ohno looks at him, blinking a couple of times.
Then Nino just leans in and does it, kisses Ohno right on the mouth. It's soft and sweet, but then he parts his lips a little and Ohno does the same. He brings his hand up, placing it on Ohno's shoulder, squeezes, and Ohno makes a little sound into the kiss that's both cute and a little exciting.
Nino pulls away, just enough to break the kiss, but doesn't move out of Ohno's space. He doesn't really like not being in Ohno's space.
"Happy birthday," Nino says.
"It's not my--"
"Shh," Nino says.
