I wrote a few drabbles~ ♥
Subaru/Yasu/Maru for
molkita It's a good thing, Yasu thinks, that he's an unconventional kind of guy, or else he wouldn't be able to enjoy these mornings. Yasu's bed is too small even for two, but it just makes them huddle closer, tightly packed from end to end.
A strip of light falls into the room through the space where the curtains don't reach the window sill, and it follows Maru's arm, shoulder to wrist, nearly in a straight line where it's draped over Subaru. Yasu's lips still feel swollen from the night before. Maru kisses gently, but Subaru's rough and unrestrained. Yasu thinks maybe he's a middle ground, but isn't sure even how that works when they're all tangled together.
"Good mo~orning," Maru sing-songs and Yasu realizes he's been caught just watching, but Maru doesn't seem to care.
Subaru stirs, and Maru tries to keep from giggling, but Subaru wakes just long enough to whine and pull the covers over his head. It's so cute that Yasu can't help but laugh, and Subaru's grouchy and frustrated. It's even funnier because of how he's trying so hard not to smile. Maru pokes him once, twice, then the covers come off in a flurry and a full out poking war begins.
It's a good thing Yasu's an unconventional kind of guy, because now that he's had them, this is the only way he ever wants his mornings to be.
Subaru/Yasu for
elyndys It makes a certain kind of sense to stand so far apart when singing a song called "Desire". The staging is deliberate, the distance punctuates the words, Subaru thinks, and he gets lost in his own world only anchored by Yasu's harmony.
It's hard not to get carried away, with this much freedom. Subaru doesn't look at Yasu when he sings because he's sure that if he does, looking won't be enough.
They wait backstage, listening to Taichi set up and Subaru doesn't even think he can look at Yasu now. It's hard when there isn't an immediate audience to play to, it makes Subaru feel even more vulnerable, and it's too intense, sometimes, when he can't disperse his feelings. They're like a heavy bag over his shoulders, either weighing him down or keeping him grounded.
"Good luck," Yasu says, the first words he's said the whole time they've waited, and Subaru, still unable to look, holds onto Yasu's elbow until it's time to take the stage.
Yoko/Uchi for
impynymph Monhan is Yoko's idea. Strip Monhan is Uchi's, but it was a silly challenge because obviously Yoko was going to win.
An hour later, Uchi sits in his boxers while all Yoko has taken off is a shoe.
Uchi scowls. "You get competitive..."
"Duh," Yoko says, "it's Monhan," as if everyone knows just how serious this matter is. "Put your clothes on and we'll have a rematch?"
"I may be getting used to the draft," Uchi says, grinning.
Yoko's amused because, while it's been a while since he hung out with Uchi so casually, it hasn't been that long, but he expected a little more whining from Uchi's end of the couch. Maybe he's grown up. Yoko looks at him intently, lifting an eyebrow.
"What?" Uchi asks.
"Nothing," Yoko says. "Want to play another game?"
"How about a different kind of game," Uchi says.
"Like what?" Yoko starts digging in his pocket. "I've got Mario Kart... King of Fighters..." But Uchi's already closing the gap between them, already kissing away whatever else Yoko was going to say.
Yoko/Maru/Hina for
skycouldfall Unexpectedly, in the middle of the hotel hallway (just outside of the elevator, where it only happens to be clear) Yoko kisses Maru.
Maru's too shocked to move at first, but settles in to the kiss quickly, if only because Yoko's so enthusiastic, he can't help but respond. They're moving back, further into the wall and Yoko's arms snake around Maru's back. It's bold, especially for Yoko, and Maru thinks it's a little exciting to be kissed like this.
Or maybe more like a lot exciting - Yoko moves them both behind a doorway, so they're not so conspicuously in plain view. Then Maru starts to feel a little more brave, holding onto Yoko's back.
It only gets more intense when Yoko presses their bodies together, he's got Maru's shoulders in his hands, digging in with his fingertips, and Maru closes his eyes. But, it's only to snap them right back open again when someone finally finds them.
"Hey!" Hina says, then Maru turns around. "Oh, him? Well. Carry on, then."
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Yoko says.
"Well he doesn't have any shame..." Hina says. "You should probably know better."
Yoko looks indignant.
"He's a bad influence," Hina says, nodding at Maru, who shrugs.
"Okay, we'll go back to the room, mom," Yoko says, and Hina somehow manages to smack him while simultaneously nodding in approval.
"What did you do that for anyway...?" Maru asks, running a finger over his lips.
Yoko watches Hina back as he steps into the elevator. "Just wanted to see what all the fuss was about."
