I just went on possibly the worst job interview ever.
The job was posted as an Administrative Assistant, but is more like an office manager. Assistance to everyone in the organization. Bad description.
It only paid 28,000, because it is a not for profit, but I thought a good cause. Anyway, the guy basically berated me for having joint custody with my child and making him sleep in a different bed every night, and then randomly mentioned that it was crazy for a woman with a five month old to be vice president, and then asked why I even applied for the job in the first place, even though I do have experience doing almost everything on the posting.
I should have cut it short after 5 minutes, but I stayed, and left feeling like I had to prove something to him. I went in there shopping for a job for ME, and left feeling defeated.
I need more practice. Or maybe I'm looking for the wrong type of job.
