So here's a query for those of you familiar with NYC and NJ:
Friday we're driving down to NY/NJ to visit with friends for the weekend. Said friends won't be around until roughly 5pm. I'd like to get down there early to go to Re/Dress. But said friends live in NJ. What's my best option for getting to Brooklyn and then to NJ without spending two hours in rush hour traffic? Should I consider parking the car in NJ and taking a train there and back, or would that take just as long? Am I overestimating the drive between Brooklyn and NJ? Usually when I'm in NYC I am not driving, so I'm confounded here. I don't mind city driving, I'm just wondering what would be the most efficient means of travel.
Any advice at all would be welcome. Thanks in advance.
