Yeah, that pretty much says it all.
Yesterday, I was eating dinner in the dining hall, and overheard the following conversation (more or less):
Guy: So, what's your real name?
Jr.: It's Kingsley.
Girl: That's a great name! Like a Jane Austen name!
Jr.: *indignant* No, it's not!!
Guy: I think you're thinking of Mr. Bingley.
Girl: That must be it... no, wait, what about in that other book? Emma? Wasn't there...
Guy: That was Mr. Knightley!
Girl: King, knight, same diff.
It really says something, I suppose, when I'd rather read my History text than my Theory reading. Of course, I'd rather post on Gaia than read either of them (Visual Culture readings are ok, and usually take less than half an hour).
