Homestar Runner as education?

Life continues on at Calvin College, if a bit hectically. One week from tomorrow, and I'll be going to see Starlight Express ^_^ Definitely looking forward to that.

This is the second week in a row that I've been on Desserts on a Wednesday, with chocolate pie (with meringue this time, though) and have needed help taming the crowd of ice cream whores, and ended up with Mint Chocolate Chip as a new flavor, although I only ran out of two flavors this time, and had two separate cartons of Crunchy Munchy Peanut Butter. This time, though, I actually got a card for my troubles, good for one free hour of work or a drawing for a prize to be annouced later.

After watching 10 episodes in one day, I guess it's official: I'm addicted to Princess Tutu. The second half is kinda lackluster so far, but I've still got 9 episodes to go, so it might pick up later. I certainly hope so...

Another Life with Lang moment - while discussing Jell-O (the colors and all that), I mentioned that the dining halls (especially Knollcrest) put marshmallows on top of it sometimes, and I didn't like it. Now, marshmallows, like so many things, are a foreign concept to Lang. My initial description fell a little flat, so rather than turn to webster.com or her English-Chinese dictionary, I instead pulled up homestarrunner.com and had her watch the Marshie short. And thus all questions were solved. \\//^_^
And despite my protests, she insisted on taking a picture of me at this ungodly hour, with my hair flipped out from work (how scooping ice cream can do such things to my hair, I have no clue). So we'll see how that turns out.

As for me, I'll finish an ep of Princess Tutu, and then go to bed.

food, work, anime
