My roommate, as part of her English as a Second Language class, is working on narrowing down a topic, then making an outline, and enlisting my help. Pearl Harbor? That was the worst movie ever. But as long as the teacher's not TERRIBLY hung up on television as a topic, as long as Lang's paper's well-writen, it shouldn't be a problem. At least DLU professors wouldn't have minded. I remember Dr. Prill even telling us, "Here's the topic. But you can even go ahead and write about why this topic is stupid, as long as it's a GOOD PAPER. But remember, when you're disagreeing with the person who's grading your paper, it had better be a VERY good paper." ^_~
