Actually posting? and a video
I signed up for one of those sites where you answer surveys for theoretical money, and so I get e-mail notifications for surveys I might be interested in. Usually I end up not qualifying (I still get partial credit, though) after answering a number of demographic questions. Well, I just got disqualified after answering just one. Apparently I live in the wrong part of country to fill out a survey on cars. Huh.
The big boss was in for a visit at work today. I only saw him briefly, and I wouldn't have known it was him if Karen hadn't told me. But I was on my toes for the rest of the shift, even though he was probably doing stuff upstairs and not paying attention to self-scan.
Both the Redboxes were completely full today, something I've never seen before. Usually if one of them fills up, it's because the other one is down and not accepting returns (Kiosk A's touchscreen stops working from time to time, and lately Kiosk B has had a tendency to stop reading the barcode, rejecting the DVDs). But no, both of them were functioning properly, there had just been a lot of returns earlier in the day, I guess. The problem eventually fixed itself, once people started getting out of school and work and started renting without returning, but in the meantime, I had to explain what was going on (and what could be done in the meantime) to a lot of people.
