Double Self Scan

Usually I work 12 to 6 cashiering on Sundays, but this week the schedule put me on self-scan instead. I was in the break room getting ready when I saw Teri, who usually does self-scan 12 to 5 on Sundays, and she was wearing the self-scan shirt. So when I went to punch in, I double-checked the schedule, and sure enough, I was on self-scan. But so was she. So when I went downstairs again, I checked the schedule sheet at the podium, and it said that we were both on self-scan. Turns out that self-scan is supposed to be double staffed when things are busy, and I guess with the new handheld scanners getting popular, Dan decided to give it a try. For the most part, it was pretty nice, since I didn't have to worry if I was spending too much time helping one person. But there were a lot of times where there just wasn't that much for one person to do, let alone two. I'm just glad I was paired with Teri, since we have similar ideas about how to run self-scan.

Is the combination of creme de cacao, peppermint schapps, and half & half an established drink? I got them along with green creme de menthe to make a Peppermint Patty cocktail, but it tasted gross, so I've been trying different combinations, and this one is pretty good.
