In the end, my flight didn't take off until after three. So by the time I got to Indiana and back to Dave's parent's house, it was time for dinner, and then by the time we got everyone together, it was already 8 pm. We went to Red Lobster, and then Dave's mom and sister talked his brother into watching Enchanted, so we stopped and rented it on the way home.
Today Dave and I drove down to the Chicago area to visit his uncle, who will officiate the wedding. He had us take some tests and write other things down, and then we talked about various things, but mostly about the wedding. Dave's aunt got us lunch at a local restaurant. I don't remember the name, but it had something to do with the court system, since a lot of the items had names like "Guilty blank" and "The Innocent blank." I had the "Verdict Burger" which had mushrooms on it. It was good, but it came with a side (I had onion rings) and a soup, which was a bit too much for lunch. I saved half my burger, but I forgot to take it with me when we left, and I didn't remember until it was too late to turn around. Oh well.
Since it was only about half an hour away, Dave and I went to that Japanese mall that we went to the last time I was there. Mostly we shopped in the bookshop, which was a lot bigger than last time. I found a bunch of Paniponi manga, and almost all of the Mirumo de Pons I needed, so I was happy. I also picked up some Calpico in the grocery store part.
We had dinner at a nearby restaurant called Boston Blackie's. We had to wait a while for a table, but once we were seated, our food came really fast. By the time we left, it was raining, and by the time we got back to his parent's house, there was even some lightning. The tolls wiped out almost all my spare change *_*
