Last day before Thanksgiving

Of course it was busy, but the front light on my register was burned out, so it looked like I wasn't open, even though I was, so I got a (tiny tiny) smidge of downtime every now and then. Basically just enough to wipe down my belt. Which is good, considering all the turkeys that came down the way. Those things definitely don't fit in little plastic bags. Actually, since we got new scanner guns, I did my best to catch people and tell them to just leave their turkeys in their carts.
I found a bug on a bunch of bananas today. There was this little fuzzy grey thing that I thought was mold, so I pulled it off with a paper towel, but there was something hard in it. It was some kind of larvae, I think. Brown, straight, with a ribbed end. I threw it away, and the lady bought the bananas anyway, but I felt nauseated for a while after that, I don't usually get squeamish around bugs.

creepy, work
